From London to New York and Tokyo, Jun Nakayama’s journey spans three decades of art, culture, nightlife, and transformation.
After studying in London, she moved to New York in 2001 and became part of the city’s underground nightlife, club kid culture, fashion, and performance art scenes.
Today, through writing, translation, media appearances, and public speaking, she continues to preserve and share the cultural history of New York’s underground communities.
